As a specialist in the delivery of Physical Computing, Phil is focused on providing young people and their teachers with unique learning experiences using a variety of low-cost, high-connectivity computer equipment including the Raspberry Pi and Micro:Bit microcontrollers.

Through school visits in Swindon, The South West of England and in County Down, Phillip draws on the Space To Learn project to deliver compelling sessions which incorporate live data from Mourne Park and from classroom robotics.

The best of technology is explored with pupils and teachers alike, so that they can gain in confidence and develop an awareness of how coding skills combine with physical application to provide an astounding array of new possibilities in the classroom, and in the wider world.

2023 saw the creation of the Robot Racing Club. A review of 2023 can be found here.

2025 is looking like Phillip’s busiest Flickernet year yet.
